This is my favorite season of the year, the leaves are turning,the cool nights have replaced the steamy dog days of summer and
we have been blessed with some much needed rain.

Well it's been a while since i have posted a status. I have been busier than ever before. Let me catch you guys up.

In June i Purchased Alert Pest Solutions from a Friend and former work colleague. This added 100 customers or so to by books. I am really grateful that the owners of Alert gave me that opportunity and would like to thank them for that trust.

With that said this has enabled me to expand further north into the metroplex area. This also allows me to offer more flexible schedule times and a quicker response to calls in these areas.

Please tell all your friends and family that Overall Pest Services can take care of their pest control needs.

I would also like to welcome Alert Pest Solutions customers to Overall Pest Services and say thank you for your business.

What a great weekend! Both of my kids have graduated College. I am so proud of them both.
While outside this weekend i noticed the mosquito's are
beginning to come alive and look for food. That means you, me and our pets.

Be proactive and look for standing water in plant bases, french drains, old tires or anything that will hold water. Those are breeding sites and need to be eliminated.

Lets get ahead of West Nile this year.

Hello to everyone out there in bug world. I can't believe it is already May. We were sitting outside this evening and the air was full of various flying bugs.

Fire ant mounds are appearing in our yards, wasp nest on our eaves and termites are swarming in our homes. Many of these issues we see. It's what we don't see that can cause damage to our property and harm our family.

Many times termites are behind our walls or creeping up the exterior of our homes foundation.

Fire ants are just beneath our yard waiting for a light rain to show themselves. But they don't stop there. When its dry out they seek out moisture in our home and before you know it they are infesting our bathrooms, dirty cloths hampers and pantry's.

With all this rain, heat and humidity we can expect termites to start swarming very soon. I have already heard of a couple of reported swarms locally and south of here. Carpenter ants also swarm this time of year.

Do you know the difference between a carpenter ant and a termite swarmer? In fact there are many other types of ants that swarm when it is humid and warm.
