Tomato Art Fest this year exceeded my expectations in some kind of way. Last year was amazing.. but this year !!!!!
Cannot say thank you enough to my friends and family who helped us make this weekend not only possible but wildly successful. And for you, Nashville! Thank you for showing up and braving the heat and flash floods. I will remember this day forever!!!! 💚🍅 🎨

This one feels especially serendipitous! Shelby contacted me at the beginning of the year and told me she was the proud owner of a painting I had given to an adoption fundraiser many years ago, but sadly, it was ruined when their house caught on fire. She wanted something to replace it and sent me some pictures of previous work that spoke to her and beyond that gave me free rein on subject and timeline- the best kind of client!
Painting special pieces for you that both honors the hardship and celebrates the victories is why I do this. Nothing motivates me more- what a privilege 💛💛💛

The last few weeks have been jam packed but truthfully very restful! We went to the beach with my family and it was the most seamless trip I think we’ve ever had!
Lots of staycation fun too, trying to knock out a lot of our bingo list we made with our kids. Lots of craft days, VBS, a beautiful shower for my lifelong friend, a quick girls trip, and painting all the tomatoes and Christmas ornaments and wrapping up another commission.
3 weeks left until school starts!
