🌱 March Lawn Update – What Simply Green Turf Is Doing Right Now
As temperatures begin warming up across Northeast Florida, our team has started applying our early-spring granular fertilizer treatment.
This application is designed to:
✔ Wake the lawn up after winter dormancy
✔ Strengthen root development
✔ Prepare your turf for strong spring growth
✔ Improve color and overall turf health
What you can expect over the next few weeks:
• Lawns will begin slowly greening up as soil temperatures rise
• Growth will start to increase heading into April
• Some areas may still look thin or patchy coming out of dormancy — this is completely normal
St. Augustine and Zoysia lawns go dormant during winter, but as the weather stabilizes they will snap back quickly with proper nutrition and watering.
💧 Watering Tip:
After your fertilizer treatment, give the lawn a good watering (about ½ inch) within the next 24–48 hours to help move nutrients into the soil.
