Lint buildup inside a dryer vent can restrict airflow, make your dryer work harder, increase drying times, and create a potential fire hazard. But the vent itself isn’t the only thing that should be checked.

Mr. Mike’s Home Repair can perform a camera inspection to get a clear look inside your dryer vent system and identify buildup, blockages, or other potential issues. This helps us determine whether your vent actually needs cleaning and address problems that may otherwise go unnoticed.

We’ll also check the exterior vent hood to make sure it’s opening and functioning properly and look for issues like bird or wasp nests that can restrict airflow or allow water into the duct.
