This customer said that every time they switched the lights on, they wouldn’t and it would trip the breaker after a second or two. Investigating this I found that the wire that feeds them was shorted to ground, which is a big no-no for those of you who don’t know, and a lot of water inside of the fixture. You can see from the first picture how charred the light is on the lens. So obviously we tracked down the short, fixed it and also replaced the light because who wants good wiring but a bad light?
I also made it so that instead of having two switches for 2 lights each, they were all on one switch and added an outlet* for the home owner!
Got some lights in your house causing you issues as well? Maybe even something else that you would like looked at? Gimme a call today and I’ll come fix it for you! I also do installation too!
