📍 Location: Louisiana & Surrounding Areas (Travel Required)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 7 AM–4 PM
💵 Pay: Piece rate (average $25–$40/hour based on skill & work ethic)
🏠 Housing Provided During Travel
About the Role:
GTD Enterprises is seeking motivated and reliable Water Meter Installers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and is ready to build a career in a high-demand trade with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Install residential and commercial water meters accurately and efficiently
Record and report meter data (old and new readings) with precision
Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and working in outdoor conditions
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Able to lift 40–50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding conditions (heat, digging, up/down movement)
Willingness to travel extensively (job sites vary from 500 to 10,000 meters)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
Preferred but not required: Plumbing, construction, or utility installation experience
