My Kentucky Master Plumber certificate officially came in the mail.
We still have to complete the activation process and everything else that comes with taking that next step, but this certificate means more to me than words can explain.
There were a lot of long nights after work, studying the code book, pushing through stress, setbacks, delays, self-doubt, and people counting me out. There were a lot of times my name got run through the mud, a lot of times I could have quit, and a lot of times I questioned myself.
But I kept going.
I am not doing this for anybody else. I am doing this for my family. I am doing this to break cycles, build something real, and create a better future for the people I love.
I could not have done this without God guiding me every step of the way, and I could not have done it without my woman Alexis Elder standing beside me, pushing me, helping me study, believing in me, and holding me up through every hard season. Unfortunately, this is not the finish line. This is just the beginning.
