Working on a sump pump pit in downtown Birmingham, a check valve went bad, then the pumps were fighting against each other until one gave up😏
Usually how it goes😁. The building had already been flooded so the owner wanted top shelf plumbing. Say less, replaced both check valves, pump, and reconfigured the piping.😁

Don't mind me, just changing out this pressure reducer valve. Just for information sake if your water heater starts tripping the relief valve 9 out of 10 the house has too much pressure, hence the new one😎
Recommended house water pressure is 65-70 psi.

Drain wrench snapped off the center crosshair right away, notch it with angle grinder and backpedal with flat head and hammer 😎

Built the house around this one 🤔😏. Couldn't get all the water out even with drill pump, 💪 For same day water heater replacement, you know 🤔😎

One thing along with many more I'm certain 😏, that a pro plumber does in order to promote control and not chaos is looping the hot and cold at the water heater and rigging for air, throw 80lb on the new plumbing system overnight, need a soap bottle for slow leaks. It's something I never thought of until I found the trade 😎. Air seems to be dryer when looking for leaks 😂
