Just a reminder keep a faucet dripping if you have had frozen pipes in the past or your not sure if you could have a frozen water pipe issue make-sure all vent are open. Make sure all windows and doors are tightly sealed. Keep blinds or curtains closed if you were to use a portable heater do it with common sense and proper power cords.

With this Dangerous COLD coming, a few tips to remember:

*Insulate exposed pipes in unheated areas like crawl spaces, garages, or attics. You can use foam pipe insulation or wrap 'em with heat tape.
*Let faucets drip slightly during extreme cold snaps to reduce pressure.
*Keep garage doors closed if pipes are near or inside.
*Consider thermostat settings: keep your place at least 55°F (13°C), even when you're away.
*Open cabinet doors under sinks to help warm air circulate.
