Today, we're holding so many feelings in our hearts. As we mark 24 years since the tragedy of 9/11, we are reminded of the lives lost and the incredible bravery of that day.
In the wake of yesterday's horrific news about Charlie Kirk, it feels like another blow to our nation. It is a time for mourning and for a renewed commitment to peace.
In a world where hatred can cost a life, we must remember that kindness is free. Let's make a difference not just for ourselves, but for the children we are raising in this world. We must agree to disagree, but we must never stop trying to find common ground.
We will remember Charlie Kirk, and we will never forget 9/11. Lord be with our nation during these trying times.
