This Henry Link Margaux desk received a beautifully moody transformation! ✨

I blended rich, earthy shades from Mélange Paints as a backdrop to this gorgeous botanical transfer by Katarina Hernandez for a touch of elegance and whimsy.

The base is a custom moody green I mixed using Melange Paints. The top was stripped and stained to highlight its gorgeous natural wood grain. A gorgeous vintage brass k**b was added to complement the original drawer pulls.

A little history about Henry Link Furniture Co. It was founded in 1942 in Lexington, NC and became known for quality craftsmanship and timeless French Provincial and traditional designs. The Margaux line in particular has those beautiful curves, solid construction, and details that just aren’t made anymore. Pieces like this were built to last generations — and now it’s ready for another one.

A special project for a returning client 💛
She bought the dresser from me earlier this year and asked me to refinish these nightstands to match.
We completely stripped, sanded, stained, and sealed them with a high performance satin topcoat so they’ll hold up beautifully. Then we added new hardware to tie everything together with her dresser.
The wood grain on these is just unreal. I’m so grateful she trusted me to complete her bedroom set!

It was such a joy bringing the parents’ vision to life for their daughter’s room.

For this makeover I built the custom diamond accent wall painted in a dusty mauve, and refinished both the dresser and nightstand to match the space. The soft blush tones and classic details give her a room that’s sweet, timeless, and made to grow with her.

I love how the custom wall became the focal point and ties everything together. This is the kind of space you dream of as a little girl 🩷

Bedroom Makeover Complete! 🫶🏻

It was such a pleasure bringing this family’s vision to life for their son.

For this space I custom built and installed the accent wall, and refinished the dresser and nightstand specifically to match his bed. The nightstand was delivered today completing this room.

With warm wood tones against the blue feature wall, the room now feels timeless, warm, and sophisticated. A space he can grow into for years to come.
