Been a little while since I posted an update, so here's the latest:
In January I had my second knee replacement surgery, just over eight weeks removed and I'm pretty close to full throttle again. Before I went under the knife, I had two cars at Asylum that were being prepared for the powder coating of the finished chassis. A plan was devised to "pre-build" the harnesses so I could shorten the time it takes to assemble the wiring.
Once I was able to get around and the chassis were back I jumped in and started on each, and this is definitely the way to go! Adding the wiring to the instrument panels is a lot easier with the panel outside the cars, and this will allow me to start the assembly process long before the car is completed. In fact, I can get the car very close to complete before the suspension is installed.
Here's some pictures, one for the Stock Car and one for the Modified"
