What you're looking at is more than a logo. It's a glimpse into a dream I've been building one paintbrush stroke at a time. Starbrite Painting proudly serves Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, and every project I complete helps support something bigger than myself. My faith has taught me that sometimes God places a dream on your heart long before He opens the door, and this is one of those dreams. My goal is not only to provide quality painting services with over 32 years of experience, but also to help create Dorcheat Pines Inn & Restaurant, a one of a kind destination in Louisiana where Southern hospitality, great food, horses, family, and faith come together. I envision a rustic 10 room inn with beautifully themed rooms, a full service restaurant featuring authentic Louisiana cuisine, Southern comfort food, and traditional German dishes that honor part of my family's heritage. Guests will enjoy fresh coffee at sunrise, trail rides through the pines, campfires under the stars, live music, and unforgettable ranch experiences. One of the things that will make Dorcheat Pines truly unique is the ability for guests to bring their own horses and enjoy comfortable horse boarding accommodations while staying for a weekend or an entire week. Visitors will be able to ride the trails, experience ranch life, meet rescued horses, hear their stories, and even become sponsors to help provide second chances for horses in need. I also envision a beautiful wedding venue, outdoor ceremony spaces, family reunions, business retreats, and a place where strangers arrive as guests but leave feeling like family. Every house I paint, every fence I stain, every pressure washing project, and every referral I receive helps move that vision forward. I believe God has a purpose for every step of this journey, and I'm willing to do the work while trusting Him with the timing. Been working hard behind the scenes this morning rebuilding the Starbrite Painting brand bigger and better than before. Just finished designing my brand new business cards, ordered new vehicle magnets, and officially got the new back window lettering ordered as well. I wanted everything to flow together and truly represent who I am, the pride I take in my work, and the passion I still have after 32+ years of painting homes. I didn’t want something plain or forgettable. I wanted something bold, creative, professional, and one of a kind. Every detail represents hard work, trust, experience, and the love I have for transforming homes the right way. Starbrite Painting is officially back in Texas and now booking full interior painting, full exterior painting, pressure washing, and fence staining projects. If you’ve been thinking about getting your home painted, now’s the time to get on the schedule because my slots are already starting to fill up quickly. Just wanted to give y'all a little sneak peek of the painting project I’m currently working on in Killeen, Texas. There’s something satisfying about taking a home that’s worn down by time and bringing it back to life with clean lines, fresh color, and a whole new feel. After more than 32 years of painting, I still believe the details matter and I still take pride in doing things the right way from prep work to the final coat. This one is coming together beautifully and I can’t wait to show y’all the finished transformation. Thank you to everyone that continues to support, share my work, and trust me with your homes. Everybody has their favorite paint brand, and I respect that because every painter has products they trust and feel comfortable working with. But after over 32 years of painting, I’ve learned to pay attention to results, not just labels on a can. In my personal experience, I’ve had better coverage and consistency with Behr on a lot of projects, especially when it comes to covering darker colors or making dramatic color changes. I’ve seen situations where other paints, including some Sherwin-Williams products, needed two or even three coats to get the finish I was looking for, while Behr covered beautifully with one solid coat. To me, that matters because extra coats mean extra labor, extra dry time, and extra cost for the customer. At the end of the day, I’m not loyal to a name. I’m loyal to quality, honesty, and giving homeowners the best finish possible for their money. A good paint job isn’t about hype. It’s about preparation, experience, attention to detail, and standing behind your work when the job is done 🎨💪

Life has a way of testing you sometimes, but it also has a way of reminding you who you truly are. After everything these past months have brought, I can honestly say it feels good to be back painting again and doing what I truly love to do. There is just something about standing behind a brush, working with my hands, and transforming something worn into something beautiful again that brings peace to my soul. Painting has never simply been a job to me. It has always been a part of who I am. Every long day, every drop of sweat, every ladder climbed, and every finished project represents hard work, perseverance, and gratitude for the ability to keep moving forward. Through all the ups and downs in life, God has continued giving me strength, direction, and the determination not to quit even when things felt heavy. Starbrite Painting is built on honesty, respect, craftsmanship, and taking pride in treating people right. And knowing that my work also helps support the horses at Horseshoe Pines Horse Sanctuary makes it even more meaningful to me. Every job I take on helps support Horseshoe Pines Horse Sanctuary, a place built on patience, healing, and second chances. What I do for a living directly helps the horses I love and care for, and that means everything to me.
