Turn that spare room into a walk in closet!

If you feud with loved ones over hangers, space or drawers, then
you may think about closet conversion. One of the simplest way to make your closet easier to keep organized is to make it larger. Turn a small play area your kids grew out of, a pantry that really has no use or storage room area into a walk-in closet can alleviate stress created by not having enough closet space.

Find an organizational system that may work for you and think about color coordinating. Add shelves to store all of your things.
There are many types of shelving you can play with. You can even think about hanging up your accessories such as belts, scarves and jewelry to give your closet space a prettier look and easier to find your accessories.

Closets normally fall into two basic types: Wall Mounted & Floor Mounted

Wall mounted are affixed directly to the wall or hung from a rail mounted onto the wall. Floor mounted are attached to the wall but receive their support from the floor so they tend to look as built-in cabinets. Depending on the look you are going for, wall mounted are normally less expensive.

Summer is the busiest season for contractors; therefore, if you would like to minimize the wait consider beginning the work in the spring or fall. Closets require a large amount of material to build and dry weather is best for hauling components in and out of the property. If you are thinking about painted finishes, it will dry quicker when the weather is less humid.
