Reasons why you should keep your Crepe
Myrtles maintained...
1) For the aesthetic. Nothing looks better than a kept Crepe
2) Cutting them back each year allows them to keep the size and stops them from getting to large for an area. If so they can potentially block the sun from your nice lawn causing your grass to begin to thin out.
3) Keeping them off and away from the house leaves less opportunity for critters getting in your attic.
