Please attach any images of damage you can take safely from the ground/ a brief description of what happened. Feel free after this to call the above number , or We will be in touch within the next few hours! We have trucks out and about for the next 2 weeks taking care of priority storm damage/ insurance claims due to the tornado that touched down in Chester county. On spot repairs will be performed if possible- along with additional service plan and pricing if applicable. Our techs are trained as well to obtain information / necessary photo documentation of damages for our customers to provide insurance companies . This gives you the best chance for coverage.

Stop types:

Quick fix : quickk fix is a $250 dollar service stop where we come and gatherr photos/ documentation for your insurance company. Followed by tarping of damage and or felting.
We provided you with pricing for the necessary permanint repair and photographs of damage/ description for your insurance.
If job turns into a full replacement install this money is returned upon final payment of job!

On spot repair: This service starts at $350 a stop minimum. Usually the work performed at these stops are but not limited to: basic shingle , sidding , and flashing repairs.
All repairs performed are photographed, documented and invoiced for you to turn over to insurance if applicable. If repairs end up not being sufficient and full replacement is decided ; your repair payment gets returned for repairs up to $500 in cost .

Scheduled permanent: if scope of work is bigger than can be done on spot, but not requiring a full replacement our techs will tarp or felt area to prevent leaks. We will provide photos of damage and provide an estimate for needed work for you to decide / turn into insurance company. We will then get you scheduled at your earliest convenience !

We also take care of fallen trees/ removal of them/ any other storm damage you can imagine.

Cedar decks matter!!!

Reminder on cedar maintenance:

Always wait atleast 3-4 weeks from installing cedar to seal cedar to allow inner moisture to release . Always seal cedar in temperatures 65+ with 2 days for sealer/ stains to cure!

Not sealing cedar will result in : swollen/ popping boards! Deck boards will also “cup” and gaps for water drainage will become tight ! Not allowing water to drain between boards . Swollen boards can also pop from around the screws from excessive moisture/ drying out!

Before installing a cedar deck on your home ask yourself this:
What type of homeowner am I?

How do you take care of your house ? It’s important to know what type of homeowner you are and manage your expectations . Uncovered cedar decks require almost bi- yearly maintenance. This means light pressure washing/ resealing as necessary .

If you don’t intend on doing the required follow up maintenance on cedar, your best options would be a composite material such as Trex, or Azek! The material is costly but will last 30+years virtually maintenance free.

If these above options fall out of your budget you may want to try pressure treated. .. While it’s not as pretty as cedar , pressure treated boards last twice the time unsealed or painted . The downside is it’s still wood. If unsealed or stained/ painted you are susceptible to cracking or cupping boards!

Conclusion: if you don’t want to do maintenance , go composite!

If you want style/ and something different , go with cedar !! Just follow our preventative maintenance suggestions!

If you want an option inbetween : go with pressure treated and save money!
