The transformation continues as our team advances work on the Turnpike Widening & New Nolte Road Interchange project.

Current progress includes:
• Earthwork shaping the future northbound roadway
• Roadway base installation progressing alongside lighting and sign structure installation
• Toll sites beginning to take shape
• Preparations underway for Phase 2 of the Nolte Road Bridge

Every phase brings this major infrastructure improvement one step closer to enhancing mobility, safety, and connectivity throughout Central Florida.

Taking our experience from the field to the classroom.

Last week, members of the JDC team joined the FDOT Academy to teach sessions on Earthwork and Drainage, sharing real-world knowledge and experience with individuals preparing for careers in Florida’s transportation industry.

We’re proud to support programs that strengthen our industry, develop the future workforce, and give our team the opportunity to pass along what they’ve learned in the field.

The progress speaks for itself 🚧

Our team continues making significant strides on the Florida’s Turnpike Widening Project from Partin Settlement Road to Osceola Parkway. Recent progress includes the er****on of the new westbound Partin Settlement Road and Fortune Road bridges, completion of the US-192 northbound on-ramp substructure, continued roadway base installation, sign structure foundations, and retention ponds nearing completion.

Every phase moves this project closer to delivering improved travel for Central Florida.

Five years later, this bridge is still making an impact. 🌉

This July marks the five-year anniversary of Jr. Davis Construction’s completion of the Celebration Boulevard Extension in Celebration, Florida.

One of the project’s defining features was the environmentally-sensitive construction of a new multi-span bridge over Reedy Creek, complete with a decorative truss structure that creates the grand entrance to Celebration Island Village.

A milestone years in the making.

This week, Jr. Davis Construction proudly hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony for our new state-of-the-art maintenance facility, bringing together employees, clients, industry partners, elected officials, and community leaders to celebrate a significant investment in the future of our company.

This facility represents more than a new building. It reflects our commitment to providing our teams with the resources they need to succeed, strengthening the work that supports every project we build, and creating a foundation for continued growth for years to come.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this occasion and honored by the support of the leaders and partners who have been part of our journey.

Another successful milestone reached.

We are proud to announce the successful Final Acceptance of our Turnpike project from north of SR 50 to Minneola.

This project reflects the dedication, collaboration, and expertise of everyone involved. From the field crews to project management, our partners, subcontractors, and the FDOT Turnpike, this achievement was made possible through a shared commitment to delivering quality infrastructure for the traveling public.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this project. We are honored to have been part of this effort and look forward to continuing our partnership on future projects.

Sometimes the most challenging stormwater ponds are the ones you don’t see.

The JDC team is making great progress at Ascend at Avalon, installing an intricate underground exfiltration system that will serve as the project’s primary stormwater retention beneath future residential parking areas.

Designed to manage stormwater while preserving valuable surface space, these systems require careful planning, precise installation, and close coordination throughout construction.

From underground infrastructure to finished developments, every successful project starts with a strong foundation.
