We had a customer that accidentally broke the pedestrian sensor off of their automatic door with the security door. After a run to the hardware store we picked up these brackets to keep the door away from the sensor from now on. You won’t find that fix in any manuals.

Commercial sized springs. We will be installing these later today for a customer. .331” wire thickness, 43.5” long. We will probably be putting 10 full wraps on these springs to lift the door properly. 🥵

We do more than garage doors. We fabricate this corner guard for commercial customers to prevent damage to walls by vehicles like forklifts. Custom fabrication and custom solutions to solve your problems is just some of what we do.

My favorite tool of the week would have to be this tool here named a donkey cone. Torsion spring cones have 4 holes for winding bars to insert but that is sometimes not enough, especially in a location with low ceilings. This donkey cone secures on the torsion spring cone and gives me 8 locations to insert the winding bars. I appreciate tools that make my job easier.
