The old saying is “water finds a way” and we’ve had a lot of it lately! ⛈️

This client was dealing with runoff flooding his shop every time heavy rain hit. We installed drainage to catch the surface water and move it away from the building where it belongs.

Standing water, erosion, washed-out gravel, saturated ground, wet crawlspaces and recurring flooding are warnings; control the water before the water controls the property.

✅ Verify their General Contractor’s License (a business license is not the same thing)
📄 Request a current Certificate of Insurance
🏛 Confirm that permits will be pulled and provided to you before work begins
🔎 Check that the documentation matches the name of the company you’re hiring

One of the biggest risks to your property and bookings are projects that are:
• Started without permits
• Shut down mid-project
• Abandoned when proof of licensing is requested
• Left exposed, unsafe, or inaccessible
