Our Sod Estimator Member will provide customer service and estimating services centered around sod. This can include grading, lawn preparation, spreading of topsoil, hauling, sod installation, installing of mulch, pine straw and installing drainage may be needed on occasion. A measuring wheel is required and knowledge in the landscaping industry is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
• View calendar and contact leads to setup a time to meet and go and measure.
• Speak with clients while on the job regarding their lawn and landscaping needs.
• Update calendar with notes, pictures, measurements, and other important details so all is easily conveyed to install team so work is completely done according to customers wishes.
• Be able to view properties and recommend grading issue solutions and explain the benefits between the different types of sod offered by Knoxville Sod.
• 100% team player
Qualifications and Skills
• Valid Driver's License in the State of Tennessee
• Communication and sales skills a plus
• Clean driving record
• No serious criminal offenses
• Knowledge within the landscape industry is a plus
Pay: $50 per estimate / .56/mile to and from address / % of sale if customer moves forward
