These are some before and after pictures of a recent job. A customer and friend had an above ground pool installed recently by a supposed professional. He wanted it recessed a little so the deck would not be so high. The installer basically dug a hole, put it up and left. I was coming to do some other types of grade work, when I saw what they had left them I couldn't believe it. They ended up having to pay me to fix it right. I also helped him lower the pad for the pump and filter and install couplings so he could remove the pump and filter if needed. If that wasn't enough, we then discovered the skimmer was installed upside down. I am not a pool guy but this was just common sense. Moral of the story is, there are a lot of people out there calling themselves professionals. They buy a machine and go to work charging premium prices for inexperienced bad work. I've done a lot of work going behind these pros and doing it right. Be careful, ask questions, if you're new to the area ask around and get recommendations. Moving dirt is my passion. I'm thankful to God that I get to do what I really enjoy doing everyday. I've been doing it since 1981. I hope I've learned a thing or two. Give me a call if you need grade work. I always offer free estimates and advice.
