It’s Spring and you know what that means…SPRING CLEANING. Not very many people think about cleaning out their dryer vents and ductwork but I do.

When it comes to your vents and dryer ducts remember the 3 D’s:
Dirty (Obvious)
Dangerous (Fire Hazard)
Damages (Dryer has to work twice as hard)

Call or text to schedule your dryer duct work cleaning. The flat rate of $200 (Oldham County, additional $25 otherwise) consists of the following:

1) Removing, cleaning, replacing and reapplying silicone to the vent so that we keep water out.
2) Duct cleaning from the outside (see video) and from the inside (from around the dryer) to the duct.
3) Take it with me! The whole point of paying something to clean is that it looks better than before they got there. Plus I use the lint to knit afghan sweaters for family members at Christmas time.

It's that time of year...Spring Cleaning/Remodeling/Fixing. This ole home had been the victim to (now resolved) water damage causing damage to joists, studs and beam rendering this exterior door useless. After all the damaged wood was removed and replaced, new studs (jack/king and me LOL) new beam built and installed, new door, threshold and trimmed out. In a few weeks with warmer weather I'll get everything caulked, sealed and painted. Another happy customer and successful Side Project.

I just had the pleasure of working on these two projects for the most wonderful people.

A recent surgery meant another railing needed to be added for added safety going up and down the stairs.

The wall fell victim to a fur baby misbehaving. Shiplap and rail added plus a new while outlet and plate. The stories shared and the kindness shown made this a Top 10 Side Project.

Custom built butcher block island top completed yesterday. Once the homeowner conditions and treats the top, the color will change a little to match existing wood more closely. This was both challenging (very heavy) and on a not perfectly square and level cabinetry. They couldn't be happier with the final product. Another successful Side Project!
