Ice dams are a nasty snow creature here in Central Oregon and unfortunately, they're very common after snow storms like the one we just had.
As your roof heats from the sun and internal temperatures, snow begins to melt and run down the roof. But the freezing temperatures refreeze the water runoff where it creates an ice block. Any future water runoff is blocked by the ice, resulting in pools of water accumulating on your roof.
The water can get under your shingles and potentially leak into your home through your insulation and drywall.
This can happen whether you have gutters or not.
Don't let this happen to you! Call or text us for snow removal from your roof and prevent those ice dams from damaging your home.
