Cedar Falls Deck Build #1
16'x15' Covered deck. This project had a lot of unexpected issues and had to alter plans a few times on the fly but what turned out was close to what the clients and I had originally envisioned. We were all very happy with the finished build and happy to have it done. I have 2 new scars, 15 stitches to add to my list and we wont even talk about the bees. The clients have informed me they have a list of future projects for me and I will be happy to continue working with them. Plus I got a lot of freshly baked cookies.

Updated pictures on the pergola/seating area/corner privacy area. This project was finished this spring but just getting the pictures on now. Been a little busy. This was a very educational and fulfilling build with a lot of planning and replanning due to various circumstances. I know mom loves it and it has helped me to get other jobs because of it. If anyone would like to plan their own outdoor oasis just let me know.

Jesup House Remodel. All 6 interior doors on upper level were removed and new were installed. All windows and doors were given new trim as well as a few added touches for a more dramatic appearance. New baseboard was installed throughout the entire upper level as well as some custom work around existing kitchen cabinets. The vinyl floor was partially reinstalled due to cracks opening up in the seams from a previous installation. New casing was also put around wall air conditioning unit. The home owner was a delight to work for and I know she has future projects in mind for me.

Captains bed made by repurposing mahogany dresser. Added back bed frame made from pine and surfaced with 1 inch mahogany boards. Joined together with hidden braces and storage runs through back side of the piece. Everything, other than the dresser, was custom built and color matched as best as possible. Dresser needed to be extended 6 inches on each side to accommodate an xl twin mattress, which made it interesting to get in the bedroom.

A year of work, on and off, that expanded greatly in scope from the beginning designs. Still needs some finishing touches like the metal inserts and bench seating for the pergola. Please excuse the leaves.
