Founded in 1989 by Charles Arrington, we got our start in the textile industry focusing on process piping and industrial fabrication.

We have successfully expanded into general contracting and other aspects of mechanical and industrial industries.

Midsouth Mechanical along with sister company Rig X received & set in place the final piece to an on going project, a 52K lb oxidizer!

Superior Cranes did the heavy lifting & our skilled craftsmen got everything in place so that now final piping & electrical works can take place! Great job team!

Major Project Milestone: Successful Turbine 1st Fire ✅

2.5 years of construction are coming to a culmination as we reach final construction, testing, & commissioning. The successful first firing of this turbine & generating power to the grid on fuel oil as part of this four unit dual fuel conversion project marks a huge success brought by countless months of hard work by multiple crafts & contractors.

Midsouth is proud to be the lead on this project & thankful for all the help of MSM employees & partnered subcontractors that have made this milestone possible. Now to keep pushing hard to the finish line!

Phase One ✅ While we still have multiple crews inside this production facility continuing phases 2-4 the 1st phase of this project is a wrap! Hats off to our guys for installing this stainless tank farm from the ground up safely, efficiently, & ahead of schedule! We couldn’t be more proud of our skilled craftsman & thankful for the opportunity to show what we can do! Time to keep on rolling inside, more coming soon!

In an industry where outsourcing has become commonplace, we take pride in doing things the old-fashioned way. Building things in house from the ground up with our own team of highly skilled craftsmen! From working with our engineering partners on design, procuring & meticulously tracking materials & equipment, to fabricating 100% of every piece of structural steel & piping. Weeks of hard work leading up to our favorite days where we get to deliver & set in place with our own hands a piece of work that will last & serve the industry and the people that benefit from it for years to come. These are just 2 of 5 pump skids that Midsouth is currently building for an ongoing project that have been delivered to their final home. Stay tuned for more to come!

The Midsouth team has been on a roll all over the southeast! Our team just finished installation & start up of one variable speed & two fixed speed compressors w/ dryers, filter mist eliminators, along w/ a wet tank & dry tank in South Carolina. Another top quality job by the MSM team & management. Great job guys!
