According to FPC P2903.3.1, the maximum safe water pressure for a home is 80 PSI.

While many homes in our subdivision were sold with lower pressure back in the 70s, we are now seeing neighborhood readings in the 90s—and even over 100 PSI. This "silent killer" wears down your pipes, ruins water heaters, and causes constant leaks.

When you see a water puddle where it shouldn't be, it can be a symptom of a larger problem. That was the case when we were called out to this home, where a mysterious puddle had formed on the left side of the house.

After a little detective work, we found the culprits: several PVC tees in the irrigation system's control valves had cracked and were leaking underground. We carefully dug down to expose the pipes, replaced the faulty sections, and repiped the area with new fittings.

Once the new pipes were in place, we tested the system to ensure there were no more leaks and that everything was operating correctly. With the repair complete, we backfilled the area, leaving it as good as new.
