🚨Freeze Warning – Protect Your Pipes Tonight🚨
Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-20s tonight, which puts homes in Central Florida at risk for frozen or burst water pipes, especially in garages and exterior walls.
What you should do tonight:
✅ Drip hot & cold faucets overnight
✅ Open cabinet doors under sinks (especially exterior walls)
✅ Cover outdoor hose bibs & disconnect hoses
✅ Insulate exposed pipes in garages or utility areas
✅ Set thermostat to 65° or higher
✅ If you have a pool, keep the pump running
⚠️ Important: Make sure you know where your main water shutoff valve is located in case of an emergency. Shutting the water off quickly can prevent major damage if a pipe bursts.
Most freeze damage happens to uninsulated CPVC or PEX lines, outdoor spigots, and garage plumbing.
Stay warm, stay prepared, and protect your home tonight. ❄️🏠
