Cleared the way for something new today! Brush, saplings, and vine-choked trees were blocking the future home site and driveway for this property. I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of this homestead 🙂

⛈️All of this rain really highlights a lot of drainage and water management problems people deal with every year.

Driveway washouts and erosion.

Culverts that are failing or undersized.

Ditches that aren’t draining properly.

Standing water and muddy areas.

Gravel driveways breaking down from water flow.

Drainage problems that only show up during heavy rain.

The problem is, once things dry back out, these issues usually get pushed to the back burner until the next storm rolls through.

In many cases, the best time to correct these problems is actually during the dry periods when the ground is workable and repairs can be done properly.
