Hi all, I wanted to show you an example of a smaller job that was done poorly by another contractor years prior; and what's involved with putting out fires so to speak due to those missteps. Please refer to the photos that support the work involved, hopefully it helps some of you. Customer calls with a leaking, elevated pond and the request to seal the leak. We find the existing filter housing to be nothing more than a milk crate and crude filter media; and concrete that was cracked and decaying. The concrete itself wasn't properly reinforced and was found with a mesh and hollow. During our demo of the old work we find a tile perimeter that must have been the original build; and only visqueen to protect the home in lieu of a pond liner. We installed a new stone veneer, Belgard wall, liner, cleaned the spillway, and added the Ultra Kleen 3500 by Aquascape. Another reason why we chose to not give a complete bid until we uncovered the whole story; happily saving all involved from added headaches and quote setbacks!
