How to gain customer insight in a World of Change and Uncertainty

Companies no longer can afford to ignore the gold mines they're sitting on. Competitive and customer pressure today mandate that managers develop the capabilities to aggregate, analyze, and use customer data to generate real business value (how to win customers and increase the economic value of and more effectively serve existing ones).

To develop such capabilities, companies must attend to three critical issues:
Creating an integrated view of each customer Understanding and predicting customer behavior Using customer insights to improve future interactions with customers and enhance the ongoing customer relationship

Achieving the Holy Grail of deep insights into customer needs, preferences, and behavior is no doubt hard work. If it weren't, everyone would be doing it. Couple weeks ago I was glad to be invited as a photographer for the famous New York Fashion Week .
What an experience to represent BMMA and be able to create content for New York business owner in the fashion industry.

That experience made me think about an important aspect of marketing:

A strong digital marketing strategy is made up of many different components. From social media to search engines, it can be difficult to know where you really need to focus your attention. While each piece of your digital marketing strategy is important for effectively promoting your business online, some elements will be more crucial than others.

One characterization of self-actualization is having frequent peak experiences;

According to Maslow, a peak experience involves « Feelings of limitless horizons opening up to the vision, the feeling of being simultaneously more powerful and also more helpless than one ever was before, the feeling of ecstasy and wonder and awe, the loss of placement in time and space with, finally, the conviction that something extremely important and valuable had happened, so that the subject was to some extent transformed and strengthened even in his daily life by such experiences."

In other words, these are moments of transcendence in which a person emerges feeling changed and transformes.
