Every piece she creates carries its own story and I wanted this portrait to feel the same, minimal, striking and a little mysterious.

3 lights and no AI. Just careful lighting, thoughtful styling and an incredible subject.

Meet Pete of Coffin Customs.

Every workshop has that one person who quietly makes the impossible happen. At Cemetery Pulp, that's Pete. Armed with grinders, saws and an endless supply of determination, he handcrafts the coffin-shaped shelves, boxes and custom furniture that give the shop its unmistakable character.

I wanted this portrait to capture the intensity of his work. The sparks, the shadows and the relentless craftsmanship that goes into every piece.

Some people collect hobbies. Destiny collects adventures.

Known as Destiny, the Darling Daredevil, she's a sideshow performer, part of a Las Vegas magic show, the creator of the Bug Graveyard, an event coordinator and an advocate who helps raise money for animals. Every chapter of her story is a little unexpected.

Creating this portrait took a 4-light setup to match the many facets of someone who refuses to fit into a single role.

It’s July 3rd, and you know what that means? Yep... I’m a few days late posting this beauty who helps keep the weird world of Cemetery Pulp spinning. 🖤

Len is also the creative force behind Drop Dead Cute, where she creates beautifully curated butterfly displays and transforms specimens into striking works of art. For her portrait, she had the awesome idea of incorporating butterflies into the concept, and I’m kind of obsessed with how it turned out.

There’s something unsettling about seeing a place built for crowds become so quiet. This is Primm, once busy, loud and alive. Now it feels like an almost forgotten casino town. The desert creeping back in gave it this strange post apocalyptic feeling, like time just moved on and left it behind.

I met Bernard Ferguson through one of my photography classes. A retired federal law enforcement officer and accomplished author, he enrolled to improve his travel photography and better document the places and experiences that continue to inspire him.

This portrait was created with a simple 1-light setup in his home just before an interview with Untitled Interview. Sometimes the best portraits come from a quiet moment, good conversation, and a subject with a lifetime of stories behind their eyes.
