Phase 1 of Centurion is taking shape! NOVUS Architecture + Interiors Principal Dwayne R. Eshenbaugh and Job Captain Brianna McGillivray were on-site last week to check in on construction progress. The subterranean parking garage structure is coming together, with concrete retaining walls and columns coming out of the ground. It's exciting to see this 24-acre, walkable mixed-use destination in West Henderson advance from concept to reality. ShareDOWNTOWN Westside is officially open! The NOVUS team was there yesterday to attend the ribbon cutting and celebrate this milestone. The project is Nevada's first five-story multifamily development built with prefabricated modular steel construction, offering 104 units, 84 of which are designated as affordable workforce housing, organized around a central courtyard. We're celebrating five years of Tyler Naumes at NOVUS! A UNLV School of Architecture graduate and LEED Green Associate, Tyler has become an essential part of our team as a job captain. Specializing in 3D modeling, rendering, and document production, she brings life to projects from their earliest conceptions. Tyler has had her hand in key NOVUS projects ranging from the community-driven Ronald McDonald House II in Las Vegas, her very first project with the firm, to high-end hospitality and dining projects like Basilico Ristorante Italiano at Evora. While Tyler is currently pursuing her architectural license, she still finds time to paint and explore new countries in her solo travels. We're grateful to have her on our team!

Congratulations to Ana Gonzales, who just earned her Master of Architecture with a focus on Building Systems and Sustainability from the UNLV School of Architecture. Over three years as a Job Captain at NOVUS, Ana has helped shape impactful projects across the valley, including ShareDOWNTOWN Westside, the Gavin J. Goorjian Community Health Center, projects at the Showcase Mall, and more. Her thesis, "Urban Weaving," reframes urban policy as a design tool for revitalizing Las Vegas's vacant and infill lots. Next up for Ana is pursuing LEED and PHIUS credentials, deeper work in computational sustainability, and continued advocacy for affordable housing. We couldn’t be prouder and we’re lucky to have her on our team!

Together, we sorted and labeled nearly 5,000 cans, contributing to 2,500 meals for members of our community. We’re celebrating two years of Tim Larke at NOVUS! After relocating from Cleveland to Las Vegas, Tim has made a tremendous impact as a licensed architect and project manager, leading our key projects including ShareDOWNTOWN Westside, Showcase/BLVD, and the Gavin J. Goorjian Community Health Center. A vital member of our firm’s management team and a BOLD Advanced Leadership program graduate, Tim still finds time to travel and explore new places on the weekends. We’re grateful to have him on our team!
