Water softener rebed.
Fleck 3900 Tri-plex, progressive 600k grains.
That’s 20 cubic feet of cation resin per tank.

The cation resin was so old there was only 10 cubic feet in each tank to remove. After the rebed was complete, I found the BLFC buttons missing. Someone had removed the buttons and was using the safety float as the brine control.🤦‍♂️ And I’m pretty sure there were no measurements taken to set the brine dosage which means wasting salt. I’m ordering new flow controls so it can be set up properly to use the correct brine dosage and save some $$ on salt.

Last weeks project.
Clack twin alternating 210k install, replacing an old Fleck 9500.

Customer’s old 120k unit wasn’t reading gallons correctly. They thought they were using 2000-3000 gallons a day through the old unit. After installing the new unit, it was determined they were actually using 9000-10000 gallons a day through this unit. They couldn’t figure out why they kept running out of soft water. There’s your answer. The new unit is maintaining soft water constantly. 👍🏻🚰

Up early for a Saturday install. This is what customer service is about.

So I prepared myself all week to go on my annual snowboarding trip for the week next week by making sure all of our customers needs were met and no service would be required. Saturday, first customer calls with a leak at 4 pm. I get the message when the second customer calls at 6 pm with a leak. I call the first customer to find out it was the garbage disposal not the RO. I call the second commercial customer. They have a back up system so put it on back up. Sunday, headed to fix this leak. How's that for customer service right before your vacation?
