🥶 Don't Forget To Disconnect Your Outdoor Hoses! 🚰
Temperatures are dropping, and a frost advisory is in effect for parts of Kansas tonight! Take a few minutes to protect your home’s plumbing before the cold hits. 🏠
✅ Disconnect garden hoses from outdoor faucets.
✅ Drain any remaining water from your hoses and store them away.
✅ If your home has an interior shutoff for outdoor spigots, shut it off and drain the line.
✅ Check exposed pipes in unheated areas and make sure they're properly insulated.
💡 Why does this matter? Leaving a hose connected can trap water inside your outdoor faucet. When temperatures drop below freezing, that water can expand, potentially causing cracked pipes and costly water damage.
