Spring is here!

If you have a Bermuda or zoysia lawn, it should be ‘scalped’ right now. This process involves mowing low to remove last year’s dead growth to make room for the new spring growth. The dead grass is caught and hauled away. This also helps to prevent thatch which can choke out the healthy turf, as well as serving as a haven for turf damaging insects.

After scalping, a pre-emergent is applied to help mitigate those pesky weeds, as well as treating for any weeds present.
