We were asked to partner with the City of Maitland, Florida to help them rebuild after a fire. We are so happy that they are pleased with the results!
Almost as good as new.
This week ATG Construction repaired an outdoor canopy at the city’s Fennell Street fleet maintenance facility that was badly damaged two years ago by a fire that also destroyed two fire department vehicles and other equipment.
The fire burned a large hole in the metal canopy while gutting a fire rehabilitation truck, a spare medical rescue vehicle and a front-end loader.
ATG replaced half of the canopy’s roof and repaired support beams. The other half of the canopy was refurbished before all of the structure was painted. New lighting will be installed soon. The cost of the restoration was covered by insurance.
Following the fire, Seminole County donated a retired fire rehabilitation truck to Maitland Fire-Rescue. A new medical rescue vehicle will join the fire department fleet later this year.
