Just finished this this past week

Patio was already covered but needed to keep the bugs out! Screen system is made by Town and Country and is a 2"x 2" aluminum tube, available in multiple colors. Multiple layout options.

Spline is a bit tricky as it's flat and has to go in a certain way. Could use a third hand to pull screen taut, keep spline lined up with track and another to roll spline. Practice and patience definitely help!

Zeus screen door on order and installing next week!

Almost a 24' x 24' carport, 22'6" x 23'. Free standing. Ready for tin roof and keeping the cars in the shade.
Double 2x12 girders, woof! They were heavy! Fresh out of the pressure cooker.
Lots of hangers and lumber, rebar and concrete. Parking pad/driveway coming soon!

Starting 2025 with a fun project! Trellis installation over garage door, like putting LEGO's together, just adult sized!

20' material in a 6.5' truck bed made the ride interesting but didn't have far to go. Couldnt have done it without the back glass open. Flagged and strapped down regardless.

All pressure treated lumber, copper flashing, stainless steel screws. Came together quite nicely!

Made some things for Christmas and couldn't post them until after. Couldn't ruin the surprise!

Coffee table
White oak top, maple plywood, brackets are gate hardware and black piano hinge
Tupperware is extra! Measures 16" x 16" x 32"

Dresser
Lacewood face frame, solid maple drawer fronts
Measures 24" x 20" x 60"

Another busy week! Almost forgot the before picture, again. I've already built this in my mind several times and once we get the chance to start, it's off to the races.

10x12 screened in deck

All new footers, LOTS of concrete and rebar per hole

Added joists hangers, doubled up band board/rim joists and extra lags on ledgers

Laid screen on top of floor joists to keep bugs from coming up underneath

New 2x6 pressure treated decking and updated rail/guards

Used ScreenEze system, very nice stuff. Gets the screen very tight
-they claim up to 150ft² per panel and I believe it

All step flashed and shingles woven in to match existing roof perfectly

Cedar lap siding and fascia

Turned out great and finished just in time to enjoy some cooler weather coming soon!

Tile surround on the walls with spacious 18"x36" and 18"x18" wall niches

Getting bad about getting finished pictures. I will try to grab a finished picture next time I go back!
