The AC in the sunroom had been repeatedly tripping the breaker due to the existing circuit being overloaded. We installed a dedicated circuit for the AC to provide the proper power it needed and eliminate the issue.

We also had a close call while drilling through the bottom plate, but everything went smoothly and we were able to complete the installation without any issues.

While we were there, we also repaired several exterior outlets that had stopped working due to failed GFCI receptacles.

The customer was installing cabinets in this area, so we needed to relocate several existing outlets to accommodate the new layout.
We were able to run new wiring between the outlets without cutting into the drywall. While removing the existing wiring, we also discovered a buried splice in the wall and corrected the issue.
At the customer’s request, we installed blank plates over the old outlet locations to cover the existing openings.

Start of a new project in Melrose!

We received a call after several outlets stopped working, both inside and outside of the home.

During our inspection, we found several issues, including devices with failing backstab connections, an exterior outlet damaged by pests, and a splice inside one of the outlets that had come apart due to poor workmanship.

We also found several electrical boxes that had been recessed nearly 1” into the wall. As part of the repairs, we installed extension rings where needed to properly bring the boxes out to the finished surface.

We corrected the issues we found, replaced the damaged receptacles and made sure everything was properly secured and connected.

We were called in to troubleshoot an AC system that wasn’t working properly. During our inspection, we found the condenser was only receiving 120V instead of the required 240V due to an issue with the breaker.

We also found the thermostat wiring was in poor condition, which was contributing to the problem. After correcting the electrical and wiring issues, the AC was back up and running properly.
