Good morning! 🌼🌱

We just finished spreading a Northeast Wildflower Seed Mix from American Meadows along the Route 24 side of the new Rehoboth Waves property!

The goal is to establish a beautiful, natural area filled with color year after year while also reducing the amount of mowing required along this section of the property.

Wildflowers take time to establish, so this will definitely be a process—but we’re really looking forward to watching this area develop and come to fruition over the years! 🌸🌻🌿

Another property transformed by Coastal Cutters Landscaping.

This project included professional pruning of the holly, Japanese maple, and other landscape plantings to restore shape and improve overall appearance. We eliminated the weeds, refreshed the beds with premium natural hardwood mulch, installed three Taylor Junipers to replace dead trees along the side of the home, and topped off the existing landscape with ¾” Texas White Stone on the side for a clean, polished finish.

Another beautiful landscape transformation completed by Coastal Cutters Landscaping in the Long Neck area!

Our goal with this project was to create a clean, elegant landscape that perfectly complements the coastal lifestyle. By incorporating a variety of ornamental grasses, we achieved year-round texture, movement, and natural beauty.

The finishing touch was a classic gray Belgian block border paired with 1–3” river rock, creating crisp definition and a timeless coastal aesthetic.

✨ Another landscape transformation by Coastal Cutters Landscaping! 🌿

This recent project focused on softening the side of our client’s home with a thoughtfully designed planting bed that adds structure and seasonal color.

For this design, I selected Limelight Prime® Hydrangeas as the focal point, complemented by Gem Box® Inkberry Holly for evergreen structure and Walker’s Low Catmint, Black-Eyed Susans, and Autumn Joy Sedum to provide long-lasting blooms and beautiful contrast throughout the growing season. A Belgium cobblestone border was also installed to define the front garden bed and give the landscape a clean, timeless finish.

Every landscape is designed with the homeowner’s goals, maintenance preferences, and curb appeal in mind, creating a landscape that looks great!

Note: The mulch in the newly extended section within the front garden bed does not match the existing front bed. The client chose not to have the entire front bed remulched at this time.

🌿 Another project wrapped up and what a transformation! 🌿

This newly installed deck needed the perfect landscape to complement it, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. One of my favorite specimen plants, the Jean’s Dilly Alberta Spruce, makes a beautiful focal point on the corner while staying low-maintenance and easy to care for.

The combination of clean lines, thoughtful plant placement, and year-round interest creates a landscape that perfectly accents this outdoor living space. I think this one turned out absolutely beautiful!

Another incredible transformation completed by Coastal Cutters Landscaping! 🌿

This recent project was a complete landscape makeover, and the client was absolutely ecstatic with the final result!

We redesigned the landscape by creating custom garden bed shapes throughout the property. The front bed was elegantly outlined with Yellow Belgium Block, while the side beds were finished with a sleek bronze aluminum edging system for a clean, professional appearance.

To add vertical interest and year-round structure, we installed Sky Pencil Hollies and a beautiful Limelight Hydrangea. The front garden featured a fully customized plant selection tailored to the home's style and curb appeal. We also carefully reorganized and relocated existing plants to better complement the new additions, creating a cohesive and balanced landscape design.

The project included the removal of an outdated concrete sidewalk, which was replaced with a custom hardscape feature selected to match the tones of the new border and tie the entire design together seamlessly.

To further improve both function and appearance, we installed a downspout pop-up drainage system. This helped clean up the overall look of the garden beds while directing water away from the home's foundation for improved drainage and long-term protection.

Projects like this are a great example of how thoughtful design, quality materials, and attention to detail can completely transform a property's curb appeal.

We recently created a brand new garden bed around the rear of our client’s home to give the space a fresh, clean, and polished look. To top it off, we installed a unique specimen plant — the “Jean’s Dilly” Alberta Spruce — which adds the perfect touch of character and structure to that corner area. I thought it fit the space perfectly!

This is just phase one, and the client may have us back in the future for additional plantings to continue enhancing the landscape.
