Familiarity Breeds Contempt: Sometimes, people don’t fully appreciate what you offer because they know you personally. They may not see your worth in the same way they see a stranger’s.

Perceived Value: When someone haggles with you, it’s often because they expect a “friend discount.” Ironically, they’ll pay more to someone else because they associate higher prices with higher value.

Support vs. Expectation: True support isn’t about getting a deal; it’s about recognizing and respecting the hard work you put in. When someone expects you to lower your prices, it shows they may not fully understand the value of what you’re offering.

Don’t Give Up! 💪

It’s easy to get discouraged when those close to you don’t support you as you’d hoped. But remember this: your value isn’t defined by those who try to diminish it. Keep setting your standards, stay true to your worth, and the right people will come along who appreciate and support your efforts without expecting you to compromise.
