This summer has been the sixth rainiest on record in Lexington so far, with 20.61 inches of rain measured at the Blue Grass Airport from June 1st to August 19th. The rain has impacted construction, an industry that often relies on dry weather.

Adaptive reuse is when you take an existing building and give it a new purpose instead of starting from scratch.

This former workshop on a Mays Lick farm has been transformed into a year-round event space. By working with the character and features that were already there, we were able to turn it into a place where people can gather, celebrate and make new memories.
