Need a new roof? We are on site today doing just that. Stripping two layers of shingles done by another company, only to find no ice and water shield protecting the actual plywood on the roof. Resulting in soft spots and water damage to the roof. The home owner is greatful that it will be done right and ready for another Maine winter!

Did you know that the hearty garden mums you buy for fall decorating can come back year after year?
Most people throw away these beautiful plants after the blooms have disappeared.
Garden mums produce underground shoots and stolons that enable them to survive year to year.
Follow these simple steps for fall color that will come back year after year and save you money!

Step 1 - Select an area that has good drainage and nutrient enriched soil. Planting in early September is best.

Step 2 - After blooms are gone.Cut back the stems 3 - 4 inches from the ground, and cover heavily with mulch.

Step 3 - Enjoy the fact that you will be saving money and buying a few less mums every year!
