A dedicated golf simulator room — dark walls, turf floor, full projection screen — right next to a lounge space with gray shaker cabinetry, a built-in beverage fridge, live edge bar top, and commercial-style carpet tile that actually looks sharp.

So yeah. This guy can play 18 holes without leaving his house. And then grab a cold one from the bar without leaving the basement.
We're not jealous. Okay, maybe a little.

If you've got a basement and a vision, anything is possible. ⛳

Three Throwback Thursday photos is not enough angles to do this bathroom justice.

The vanity wall sets the tone — navy blue cabinetry with floor-to-ceiling linen towers, Calacatta quartz, wall-mount brushed gold faucets, and a wide backlit LED mirror flanked by that gorgeous sage zellige tile climbing all the way up. Moody and refined at the same time.
Turn the corner and there's a freestanding soaking tub sitting under a tiered glass chandelier, hexagon tile floors, a window framing actual trees outside, and a frameless glass shower with full slab Calacatta marble walls and gold hardware throughout.

That shower is something else. Floor-to-ceiling marble slab, rain head, frameless glass on three sides — it feels more like a spa than a bathroom in a Lincoln home. Every finish in this room was chosen with intention. And it shows.

Really grateful we got to be part of this one. 🤍

This Throwback Thursday basement finish had a little bit of everything.

A built-in entertainment wall with shiplap backing, flanking shelves, and white shaker cabinets on one end. A herringbone tile wet bar with LED underlighting and granite counters on the other. Dark wood beam running across the ceiling, rustic double barn doors leading into a separate room, and LVP floors flowing throughout.

And then a big open carpet zone right in the middle — because this family has kids, and they thought of everything.
It's the kind of basement that works for movie night, game day, and a Tuesday afternoon with the kids all at the same time.

That's good design and we're really happy with how this one came together. 🙌

Some basements are storage. This one is a whole other level.

That 3D geometric backsplash tile behind the wet bar is the first thing that grabs you — paired with slate gray shaker cabinets, black granite counters with that dramatic white veining, brushed gold hardware, and gold wall sconces. It's moody and intentional in the best way.

Then you step back and see the full picture — a massive black granite island anchoring the space, a projector and full theater screen on the wall, and enough open floor plan to actually live in down here.

This family didn't finish their basement. They built a second living space that happens to have a home theater, a full wet bar, and granite that would turn heads in any kitchen in Lincoln.

We're happy to remember one of our favorites on this Throwback Thursday.

Thowback Thursday today is showing what a basement looks like when you aren't afraid to dream big.

On one side, a stacked stone linear fireplace with a live edge wood mantel, floating shelves, board and batten wainscoting, and warm LVP floors running throughout. The kind of space that's just as good for movie night as it is for hosting. Turn around and there's a full wet bar — gray shaker cabinets with glass uppers, open wood shelving, subway tile backsplash, quartz counters, matte black faucet, and a built-in wine fridge. Ready for game day or a quiet Friday night in.

The board and batten detail carrying through both spaces is what really ties it all together. It's a basement, but it doesn't feel like one.
That's kind of the whole point. 🙌

Clean, bright, and built to last. Here's another luxury bathroom for this week's Throwback Thursday.

This master bath remodel packed a lot into the space. A full double vanity with floor-to-ceiling linen towers on each side, Calacatta quartz counters with that gorgeous veining, brushed gold hardware throughout, and backlit LED mirrors that make the whole room feel like it glows.

Then you turn the corner and there's a freestanding soaking tub with a gold floor-mount filler, plus a walk-in shower wrapped in deep charcoal tile with gold-trimmed glass and built-in shelving. The contrast between the bright vanity side and the moody shower side is really something.

This family's master bath went from functional to a space they actually look forward to being in. That's the goal every time.

This master bath remodel is still one of our favorite projects ever.

That fluted freestanding tub centered under a crystal chandelier — with a brushed gold floor-mount filler and natural light pouring in on both sides — is the kind of detail that stops a room cold. In the best way.

But then you turn around and there's a full walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling large format stone tile, frameless glass, and brushed gold fixtures throughout. Double vanity with warm wood cabinetry, quartz counters, gold-framed mirrors, and linen sconces that feel just right.
Every finish in this room is pulling in the same direction — warm, elegant, calm. Nothing is fighting for attention.

This family wanted a bathroom that felt like a luxury hotel every single morning and we were thrilled to help them get it.

We teased a special edition to this whole house remodel and here it is: a brand new, custom golf simulator! 🏌️‍♂️

Full projection setup, turf flooring, and so much more we can't help but be a bit jealous.

This customer had a great vision for their dream setup and the Altar team is bringing it to life. ⛳️
