JL Custom Finishes LLC We’re a husband & wife team offering high-end kitchen cabinet refacing & custom cabinetry in Roseville, CA. Check out our albums to see what we do!

From elegant islands & countertops to premium pull-outs we help you fall in love with your kitchen again. High-end kitchen cabinet refacing, countertops, new islands & hoods, small cabinet cabinet builds. We provide new doors & drawers, then we customize the existing cabinets to get them smooth, beautiful and looking brand new. We don't "skin" the cabinets with MDF as in traditional refacing. We create all new measurements for the new doors & drawers to give an updated look while also eliminating unnecessary gaps and openings. We also offer cabinet modifications to add more drawers, organizational pull-outs, built-in appliances, farm sinks, & more. A great place to see our process is in our albums section. We create an individual albums for each of our kitchens. If this is along the lines of what you are looking for, please message us and tell us a little bit about your project!

Countertops are here! 🙌👏🫶

Installation went without a hitch and now we have these beautiful countertops & backsplash to bring this kitchen to the next level!

It's so fun seeing everything coming together so beautifully. 😍👌

Now it's time to start installing the drawers! Drawer day is always a fun one. Even though the drawers are hidden, the hardwood boxes and soft-close slides play a large part in the high-end "feel" of the kitchen. If you've experienced these drawers you know what I mean! IYKYK 😉

Lawrence spraying "Black Beauty" on this beautiful island expansion 🏝🖤

We use an HVLP sprayer for our water-based cabinet paint 🎨

This gives us the control to spray at the most optimal rate to make our finishes smooth and beautiful 🎀

The custom hood & island expansion look beautiful in their new colors. It's all coming together 🙌

We have oooone more round of sanding before getting to the final coat. ✨️

Aaaannnd we have primer! 🙌

Lawrence sprayed several rounds of our water-based primer to give us the buildup we need for filling out imperfections in the cabinets 👌

Once it sets up we'll spend the day sanding it down to give a beautiful surface for the first topcoat. A couple of the (many) steps to achieving a beautiful cabinet finish ✨️

Aaaand we have primer! 🙌

This is such a fun part of the process when all the cabinets become one color again and you get a glimpse of how it's all going to look in the end 💗

What do you think of the new hood and island with the primer? Any guesses on what color(s) we'll be using? 🎨

Time to start sanding! 💪

Time to spray primer!! ✨️

For this kitchen we are in-process of our signature hybrid-reface. 🙌

We have expanded the island by adding new cabinetry and beautiful end enclosures 🎀

We've also added a custom range hood and made some modifications to the cabinets for better usability 👍

For the prep work we cleaned the cabinets with tsp, scuffed the faces, added rounds for durability, and filled the imperfections & seams

Exciting things are happening in Folsom! 🎊

We just built and installed our newest range hood design and it is looking grand and fabulous. It looks even better with the addition of the beautiful new crown molding 👌

We've deep cleaned the existing cabinets, pre-sanded the faces, added rounds to the edges, and filled the seams & imperfections. These are all important steps to give longevity to the finish and to give our kitchens that "je ne sais quoi" that make our kitchens look (and feel) high-end (and , of course 😉)

Time to spray some primer! ✨️

Things are well on their way on our Folsom kitchen transformation! ✨️

The countertops & island section have been removed, the cabinet retrofits are done, and the island addition is complete! 🎉

Next up is the custom range hood and the new crown molding! 🪚

From there we'll be prepping the cabinets to get them ready for finishing! 🧽

We have an extensive prep process that involves deep cleaning the cabinets, scuffing the faces, adding rounds to the edges, and filling imperfections. All of these steps work together to keep our finishes durable and beautiful. 🤩

The fun has begun on our newest Folsom project! We'll be doing our signature high-end hybrid reface process to turn this kitchen into a showstopper. 🎭

We'll be reimagining the island, adding a grand custom hood, converting the stove top cabinet to house an apron front slide-in range, and adding some primo new drawer space! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We'll also be adding a beautiful large crown and some under cabinet mood lighting. 🕯💡

So many fun things in store, so be sure to follow along with us on this transformation journey! 👫 💞
