This stunning custom home was thoughtfully and purposefully built into this beautiful Tennessee hillside, complimenting and blending with the properties natural beauty. On this DAM Customs build we were able to showcase the skills we have gained through years of experience in custom work. We started this project from our clients vision of a Middle Tennessee Rustic Retreat. And we brought it to Life!
The exterior of the home features metal roofing, black window trim and doors, black aluminum soffit and accents, cedar board and batten siding, wrapped cedar post and beams, locally sourced cedar railings with cable, locally sourced rock, locally salvaged barn tin, and many more local touches. It has a wrap around porch with a large front sitting area, lighting, and custom ceilings. And the view of the property is amazing!
The interior design continues the local and natural atmosphere. White Oak hardwood and creek slate tile blend perfectly with the rough sawn trim and neutral colors. The window sills are locally sourced live edge cedar. A comfortable and unique addition is the wood burning stove with locally sourced rock walls and hearth. The kitchen features custom concrete countertops, black cabinetry, and floating live edge cedar shelves. The main level has 2 bedrooms, a large utility room, and a bathroom. The bathroom has concrete counters and a concrete shower pan with tin walls. The home has a large half basement as well.
Up the White Oak staircase, the cedar railings with cable continue to the loft bedroom area. Upstairs also has a bathroom, with concrete counters and shower, and walk-in closet.
From the loft you have an amazing view of the living area and huge glass windows on the front and back of the home. You can also see the detail in the custom ceilng, rustic trim work, and beams. The abundance of natural light, recessed lighting, and beautiful fixtures give the home a bright and clean look.

Frozen and busted pipes left our client in a flooded home and in need of a complete renovation. We removed all damaged materials, treated for mold, sealed outer block walls, and started over. We removed walls, making it an open floor plan and updated everything.
