🌿 Forestry Mulching Is Only Half the Battle!
Just because an invasive shrub is mulched doesn’t mean it’s dead!
Autumn olive and honeysuckle are perfect examples. These invasive species have established root systems that can send up new growth long after the mulcher leaves.
At A Notch Above Land Services LLC, we take things a step further!
Our forestry mulchers tear, shred, and break down unwanted vegetation. But when dealing with invasive species, mechanical removal alone isn’t always enough.
That’s where cut-stump herbicide treatment comes in!
By treating freshly exposed living tissue, we can target the established root system and significantly reduce the chances of regrowth.
The blue you’re seeing in these pictures? That’s indicator dye used to identify treated stumps and help ensure proper coverage.
Invasive species management isn’t always a one-and-done job. Sometimes follow-up treatments are necessary to get the results we’re after.
There’s a difference between making a property look good today and managing the vegetation for years to come.
