Finding ice on your AC in the middle of summer can be confusing, but it's actually a common issue. We asked our experts what's really happening.

"A frozen AC usually means something isn't allowing enough airflow through the system. A dirty filter, clogged coil, or low refrigerant can all cause the evaporator coil to get too cold and freeze over."
