I meant to get a picture of my little crew and I as we drove to pick up yet another marketplace haul for Toby Gould , but I completely forgot! We were up early this morning and helped finish the final pour for this particular project, and no sooner done, we left to fill up with fuel, grab the trailer, a quick change of clothes, and got lunch. We dropped it off for the guys and drove 2.5 hours to buy more forms. Thankfully some kind young men helped us load it all so we could drive another 2.5 hours home to drop off the trailer and get dinner for the guys while they finished up.

Working for yourself has it perks, but it honestly never ends, and often requires long days and late nights. We are really hoping to take a few days off for Thanksgiving!

A beautiful day in New England in November for another pour! We used some accelerator this time so we won't be out super late finishing it since tomorrow we're back at the other job for another third of the floor. Needless to say, we're looking forward to taking a few days off next week!

5 trucks and only a third done on this floor! Weather is decent this week, and we'll be doing another pour/third on Thursday. We got the boys involved in this pour and they did good 👍. Watching them learn and grow is so exciting! It's worth the extra effort to teach them young!

Starting next Monday we'll be pouring the concrete for this 60' x 120' floor. It will be done in 3 stages.
We'll also be working on another pad at the same time at a different location, only a smaller size at 28' x 32' . Gonna be a busy week! 💪 With our new Makita cordless rebar tying tools (game changer), large heater, and power trowel....(plus a host of other new tools!).....we got this 👍.

We have been gradually expanding this year!

It took some work, but our "new to us" dump truck, trailer, and mini excavator have all been gone through and are ready to go! Super excited to be able to start doing some of our own site work without having to rent equipment all the time! The trailer was the last to be re-done, and was only completed yesterday! Nevertheless, we got it inspected, and already put to use to haul equipment for upcoming jobs!

Our job, at least, is completed on this house. It began over a year ago with doing the basement. We also built the porch...

Our job, at least, is completed on this house. It began over a year ago with doing the basement. We also built the porches eventually afterwards, and Monday we completed the siding. Definitely glad to be moving on to our own projects! The kids and I helped load up all of our tools and stuff into the trailers, and we're off to new things. 🍁🍂

The garage is ready for the roofers and the site is cleaned up. 👌

Progress pictures on the spec house 🏠 we're working on in between jobs. After taking the tree down and clearing the spot, we also cleaned up the property in front of it. Kids did an awesome job helping with picking up so much trash!!! The boys helped with the dirtwork as well. The foundation is dug, concrete walls are poured, and the driveway is in!
