Hard freeze coming on Monday- drain your backflow and exposed pipes!

All computer models are still showing some snow accumulation for the I-25 corridor from Colorado Springs to Ft. Collins, but there are some big discrepancies.

The GFS, shown here, shows the storm quickly bending into a tighter upper low, from the large mass of Canadian air. Both this model and the Euro show a similar trough, with a similar position, but timing and intensity are very different between the two.

The GFS has snow accumulation in the Denver metro beginning at about noon on Monday, while the Euro shows snow accumulation beginning on Sunday night before midnight. This is a huge deal, because the Monday morning commute changes it's tone greatly depending on this timing.

Also the GFS shows only 1-3 inches of snow in the metro areas of C. Springs, Denver, and Ft. Collins, while the Euro shows a big hit of 4-7 inches in the Denver metro, and 1-3 inches in C. Springs and Ft. Collins.

The other thing they agree on, is a trend further to the south.

This storm has still not even formed, so this is all computer model speculation at this point. We'll watch for more trends over the next couple days, but still expect to see that snowfall, and likely even some accumulation.
