Bathroom remodel progress update from 🔨🚿

We have officially completed the bathroom demolition phase and are now installing a professional waterproofing system to prepare for new tile installation. The old leaking shower pan and damaged plumbing have been completely removed and replaced with a properly sealed waterproof shower system designed to help protect the home from future water damage and leaks.

Proper waterproofing is one of the most important parts of any bathroom remodel, shower renovation, or tile shower installation. Doing the work correctly behind the walls helps create a long-lasting, durable shower system before the tile and finishes go in.

🚧 Master Bathroom Demo – Leak Found (Longmont/Boulder Area) 🚧

We just started a master bathroom remodel in the Longmont/Boulder area after a leak from the shower caused damage to the ceiling below.

Once we opened things up, we found:

Good news / bad news on this bathroom remodel…

We’re getting close to wrapping up this bathroom renovation, but it’s not quite finished yet — and for good reason.

During the final stages, I found a water leak coming from the upstairs master bathroom shower. So before we can finish this one up, I’ll need to open things up and access the subfloor to track it down and fix it properly.

Not exactly the surprise you want at the finish line… 😅
(Definitely one of those “we’ll tell the customer after we have a solution” moments.)

But this is the reality of construction — you don’t cover up problems, you fix them the right way.

A proper bathroom remodel isn’t just about making it look good — it’s about making sure everything behind the walls is solid too. Catching this now prevents bigger issues like water damage, mold, and structural problems down the line.

We’ll get it dialed in, tighten everything up, and bring this bathroom across the finish line the right way 💪

Garage rebuild completed!

We finished rebuilding the garage framing and re-sheathing it with new siding and stain. The original structure was rotting and beginning to fall apart due to decayed wood breaking under the pressure of the deck above.

Now the garage is fully reinforced, sealed, and protected — built to safely support the deck overhead and look great for years to come.
